IM ing

Just set up my first IM account....boy! will my kids be proud. Thanks Allana for the chat. Actually, my very first experience was talking to a New York City Librarian last week to ask a question. That was a quick answer. I found it available on the library website, which I suppose make perfect sense in New York. Maybe I'll even give a try eventually.

And here I am again, I've actually gone back and done Thing 1,2, and 3. My goal is to get through this with the most information possible, be able to say I got it done and actually use it. My kids will be amazed that their Mom "did it". And I may be able to help my patrons. Who knew? My biggest problem will be having time to work on it. Can I just tell you what a big, huge, giant, enormous, garganuan leap this is for me. How totally and completely out of my comfort zone I am right now. Hopefully, I'll manage to come down to earth and be comfortable very soon. I excited and scared and terrified all at once. Who knew I'd try jumping in with all you young ones and learn something very new. Guess we'll just have to wait and see how this all works out !!
